Emergency Groups' Office assumes the leadership responsibility of assisting our physicians to enhance their clinical chart documentation. This assures compliance with current CPT and Medicare documentation guidelines when billing for services rendered. Physician reimbursement documentation workshops are presented when the Practice initially starts up and later as needed. These onsite training sessions provide written material and chart samples to supply each physician with the information needed to develop improved documentation. The documentation seminars are also available by web cast giving all physicians easy access to the information. Providing this training assures that we can bill for all services performed and is vital to improving Practice revenue. For quality control, EGO provides monthly reports, by physician, detailing the number and types of documentation deficiencies.
